Xanthan Gum XCD is a premium quality biopolymer powder designed to provide maximum solids suspension and hole cleaning in vertical and highly deviated wells as well as horizontal directional drilling applications. XCD is a distinctive product and able to produce a thixotropic shear thinning fluid. XCD also acts as a very effective mud filtrate viscosifier. XCD is a high quality product which meets the API 13A Specification 19 Section. Viscosify fresh water and brine-based fluids used for drilling, milling, underreaming, and gravel packing operations.

Add XCD in concentration of 1.0 to 3.0 kg/m³ (0.4 to 1.1 lb/bbl) to drilling fluid. Mix slowly through a jet mixer or sift slowly into the vortex of a high-speed stirrer. Transportation of commodity name is not restricted by international regulatory agencies. Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Avoid high-intensity extreme pressure and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight. Keep bag closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames.
